Warbird Adventures in San Diego

Pilot's license not required

Relive the Glory Days of Aviation

Now you can make someone's ultimate dream come true: a flight in a warbird. Armchair aviators, World War Two buffs, modelers, and pilots will say a warbird adventure is the best gift they ever received (we've heard those exact words over and over). Actually, one gal stepped off the wing and announced it was better than sex!

Give someone a flight in a 1941 North American SNJ, the aircraft flown by future Navy and Marine fighter pilots. (Army Air Corps types flew the similar AT-6 "Texan"). Not just a ride in a unique aircraft, the lucky recipient of your gift ...you could treat yourself too, you know... will don a military flight suit strap on a parachute, actually take the controls of this historic warbird, and even fly loops and rolls. And no pilot's license or previous experience is required.

This aircraft is powered by big 600hp supercharged Pratt & Whitney R-1340-AN-1 "Wasp" 9-cylinder radial engine. It is especially photogenic in Marine Corps Squadron VMA-331 WW2 colors. Most of all it's an absolute hoot to fly. Even with no prior flying experience you'll experience the sights, sounds, and sensations of the glory days of aviation when you take the controls and fly this big warbird yourself.

Last Christmas we gave our pilots an hour ride in a friend's AT-6, and several (one of them an active duty Marine F-18 fighter pilot) said it was the best gift they'd ever been given! Non-pilots have told us over and over that their aviation dream is to fly in a real warbird. Mom didn't raise no dummies, so we found one of our own and now you can share the fun too.

Better than any TV show, better than any movie, better than any computer simulation, a flight in this aircraft is about the most fun anyone can have with their clothes on. This rare warbird offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to actually live a dream, to make a fantasy come true.

SNJ in the chocks The best of the best. The Lucky Bastard package includes a full hour of flying including aerobatics plus a custom sewn genuine military A2 leather flight jacket, a copy of the SNJ flight manual published by the Navy in 1940, a copy of a Navy video tape about how to fly the SNJ, and a full color 8x10 glossy photo of the aircraft. (Leather jacket may require up to 4 weeks for delivery, but we have most common sizes in stock). A fantasy come true for some lucky bastard. Only available here on the Internet. 60 minutes aloft including aerobatics, leather flight jacket, video, photo, and SNJ pilot handbook.
